Digital downloading & easy populate

I have just upload hundreds of digital files along with matching zip files using easy populate, my problem is when doing a test, the download icon appears so the porduct can be downloaded, however if I try and purchase one, I either get an update or view icon next to the product description, which does not either help my client or myself as there is no download icon so the product can be downloaded.

Do the products/files have green dots next to them in Admin->Catalog->Downloads Manager ?

Mmm problem! when I look at the downloads manager the 800 odd files I loaded up using easy populate are not there! Is this part of the problem? When I look on my site all the files are there, I am using easy populate v1.2.5.4. Does this mean I will have to load each of these products again via zencart so that the zip file links in with the image?

I am not sure I am asking the right question here, so here goes:

when zip files and gif files have been ftp's to their relevant folders and easy populate v1.2.5.4 has been used to upload all relevant information.
Question 1: why aren't these showing up in the downloads manager
Question 2: do I have to use attributes control and manually change
100's of products so that the gif/zip talk to each other
when a client downloads the product?
Question 3: When I do a test run I get the "sorry not posting to
your region at this time.

Easy populate has saved me thousands of hours in time, but unless I can figure out how to fix this, its going to take ages for me to sort out.

i have digital products which I uploaded into zencart using easy populate, the images/zips have been ftp and all relevant download information uploaded using tab delimiter. The images are showing on my website, however clients not able to download, seems like there is nothing in my downloads manager, does this mean I have to manually make the corrections or is there a feature in zencart which will allow me to marry image to zip file so that they go green.

I am at the point of paying someone to help me do this.

You need to set up your downloads to each product. As far as I know Easy Populate doesn't do this. You will need to use the attributes controller / options to associate your downloads to your products.
