I dont want attribute pricing to be discounted when product is "on special"

I dont want attribute pricing to be discounted when product is "on special"

if i go to attributes controller....display a product... then scroll down to attribute flags section.. and change the Apply Discounts Used
by Product Special/Sale: to NO...

and click INSERT.. (nothing else on the page is selected) it says

" Attribute Option and Option Value Do NOT Match - Attribute was not added - : TEXT

How can i set all products so if the are on special the attributes are not discounted by the special price thanks"

You don't have to "insert" anything here. Just select the colored box or boxes you want to apply.

Thanks for you reply. So i have to go to every option for every product and manually change the attribute flag...

What a shame there is no easy way to do this in the database.

I think Zen cart is getting far too complicated
