Your changes should work, but I recommend you use Firefox with Firebug to identify the CSS styles in use on the page, and where..
Then you can see if your changes are not getting picked up by the browser, or maybe they are, and being overridden by some other styles.

    My test site is:
    www.only240sx.com

I do all my testing on this one right now before making it live on my main site. Once I have it all working I then roll it out to all my sites.

Changes i want to make are:

    1. Make the box shorter with the selection boxes 'stacked' one below the other
    2. Change the text color to match that of the site;
      -Gold text
      -Black/Grey background
    3. I want to add rounded corners to the box edges and shorten it up a little so it is not so stretched out. (similar to that on www.coolcarpartsonline.com)
    4. The 2nd box only becomes 'active' once the first has something selected in it. Meaning you select the year, then the next box fills with car makes, then the select the car make, and after that you can choose the car model. (I hope that makes sense!! )

Another issue I am having is i do not understand how to get the information for the finder to pull from entered in.
-Eg: I do not know how to make each drop down populate with the correct section (Year, Make, Model)

Default enhanced Multiple Categories Link Manager

For those using this Product Finder mod as it comes out of the box, a new mod which enhances the Multiple Categories Link Manager should prove extremely useful to manage your product->vehicle sub-category links.

For those interested I just submitted an update to this mod including a folder with all of the files to put it into a sidebox. That way you have a choice of where you want the drop downs to appear.

If you would like a copy of this folder b4 it's available for download PM me.

The sidebox added mod has been approved and is now available with this mod. You can now choose if you want Product Finder in the header or in a sidebox at the time of install.
Just to refresh the mod is available here - http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1709

I am in the beginning stages of building a truck accessories website. Eventually, we will have thousands of parts.

I have installed ZC, bought a business template from 12leaves and had the "product finder" module installed.

But looking at the admin panel and reading the forums for advice, it seems that creating an accessories/parts site will be tedious. For one, I can't figure out the category/subcategory structure I want to use.

    Any advice?
