    Default Re: Product Finder for Zen Cart 1.5

    I am currently using this for 1.5. I have not had any problems since I installed it yesterday. I am still learning some of the go around for it. The things I did not do out of the tutorial using v1.5 was in the include>template>my template> common> html_header was I did not use that file supplied and I already had jquery (later verison).

    I had asked before could i use this model separately from my current categories. I did answer my own question with a yes so far. I have a new category called "products" with the category disabled so it will not show on my site. Inside there is where I have all the "Makes" followed by categories inside of those for "Model" then followed by years. The years I'll still be populating. I linked a product or two to test it. It appears only the products that are linked will populate a variable for you to "Shop by Bike".

    Is there a way I can edit the look of the "Shop by Bike" side box by look. i looked in the CSS provided but there was nothing really. What happen to the side box was the year, make, model along with the input forms all merged on top of each other with no spacing in between. I'm not sure how to add some spacing into it so they are not on top of each other.

    Try over-writting your "stylesheet_product_finder.css" with the one below.

    Code:
    @charset "utf-8";
    /* CSS Document */
    /*styles for Product Finder mod updated 2010-09-29*/
    .pf_selectbox_name {/*text in front of drop-down select box*/
        width: 125px;
    }
    .pf_selectbox_text {/*text of select box*/
        width: 125px;
            float: right;

    }
    #product_finder form{
        margin:5px;
        padding:5px;
        width; 125px;
    }
    .pf_noscript {
        position: relative;
        left: 100px;
    }

    #productfinderContent div {
            margin-top: 10px;
            text-align: left;
            height: 100%;
            font-weight: bold;
            width: 190px;
    }
    Hope this helps.

    Glad to help Rex_. That was the easy part. Now you get the hard job of populating all the fields.

    Hi All,

    I installed this excellent contrib on a 1.3.8a Zen Cart. I noticed that the second dropdown "Model" will list all categories except the first when javascript is enabled. When I disable javascaript, all categories are listed in dropdown.

    Anyone else noticed this? Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    I see the same categories listed in Model, with and without Javascript.
