I want my customers to get excited about things I don't even have yet.
So I want the ability have products on my site that are not buyable but also not "Sold Out"
I need to keep the sold out for when items do actually sell out.
Thanks!

That's what the date available field in product entry and the coming soon listing box are for.

What coming soon listing box? Where's that?
I think if you just add the product with the future date, the box will show up ( at least it did for me just now in testing something else).
So I guess by default it's switched on.
I don't want any box to show up though
I am going to be able to hack it to make it work by changing the "call for price" to a "coming soon" graphic
But that doesn't seem right to me
I sure he meant he doesn't want a pop up box.
Anyways changing the date will add the products to the center of you home page where special and such not appear.
However if you do not leave the number available set to zero they will be able to order them. So on the product listing page it will show as sold out.
*sigh*
I want the product to appear on my website like normal.
Without a sold out image
Without a add to cart button
I still want the description, the size attributes pull down, price, image, and additional images.
