I recently upgraded from 1.3.7 to 1.3.9e, which was easier than I expected although still required a certain amount of mental steeling beforehand
The only issue I've had is that on the Shopping Cart page in Japanese, Option Names in Japanese become &#hex'ed, eg
郵便でCDの注文
This is funny because the same option names come out clean on the product pages.
As this is only on the Shopping Cart page, and has only started since moving from 1.3.7 to 1.3.9e, I wonder if any Zen Cart experts can guess where this problem may lie?
Admittedly my database encoding is strange - the old database was latin1-swedish and I set up the new one as utf-8. And something about the setup means that Japanese generally goes in via admin OK, comes out on the website OK, but is gobbledigook when viewed with phpmyadmin.
If you'd like to see the problem in action, go to
http://www.ethnosuperlounge.com/esls...hp?language=ja
and put something in your cart which has Japanese characters in its (Japanese) title.
Thanks in advance
