Coupons that Redeem a specified product

We've got a new sales campaign coming up and we'd like to check in to see if Zen has the ability to use a coupon code to redeem a specific product in the store.

For example, at http://www.primevapor.com , when someone enters in a discount code during the checkout process, we want them to receive an extra Passthrough device into their shopping cart. If this is problematic to do at the checkout page, I'd be willing to move the discount code field onto the store's main homepage and then redeem the code there.

Ajeh, I'm hoping you might be able to grace me with your wisdom...but i know things are busier than h311.

Set up the Discount Coupon for an Amount for the Product Price ...

After it is made, click on RESTRICTIONS ...

Set the Category Restriction to:
TOP DENY

Set the Product Restriction to:
Your Product ALLOW

Voila ... now the Discount Coupon is only good for the Amount of the 1 Product and may only be used on that 1 Product ...

for future reference the item will still need to be added during the shopping process.


Ideally, i would have liked the item to of added that item into the cart as a free 'gift' without the need to physically going to the product page to add it in. However, this still may work for our needs. I'll run it by the owners and keep my fingers crossed.
