Checkout by Amazon Zen Cart Plug-in

Hi Diva... you're too funny! Yes, I did read through the and was glad I did before I embarked on what appears to be a fruitless journey.

In fact, I just contacted my client Amazon Rep and asked them about this very issue and directed them to this thread encouraging him to read these last several pages.

Considering that Amazon does something like 100 million a day in sales, you'd think they'd spend a "little" money to ensure that their plug-in would be updated to work with the ONLY PCI Certified FREE Open Source shopping cart out there (unless someone knows of another)

I look forward to hearing back from them and will let ya'll know what they say!

I heard back from Amazon. Here was the response:

While we do have plans to update our
Checkout by Amazon plugin for Zencart and are aware of the thread you mentioned, I
cannot currently give you an estimated time when that plugin will be completed and
available. That being said, we're more than happy to provide technical assistance to
you if you choose to update the current code or integrate with the existing plugin.

Like I said.. I'll see a unicorn walking through my yard before they reply in a satisfactory manner.. Though I suppose one could say they have made SOME progress in their stance in that they at least (passively) admit that the module needs to be updated..

Oh, I did get another response. Seems like a 7 day turn around for any questions. I won't set the poor gall out in an open forum, but she did say she had successfully help to integrate the module for 1.5x. I asked if she could estimate the time needed for this,
but should couldn't give one.

Probably MONTHS if you have to wait a week for every response

Nope.. No one has ever had that "ah ha" moment and gotten this thing to work as it should.. You can go back to Amazon and ask for their help.. But you will find that Amazon doesn't support it (they SHOULD since they wrote it), and only points you back here so you can discover that this is a..
