Default UPS Shipping module -> CANADA!

My UPS shipping module wasn't working so I set it to e-mail the error code to me. The problem is that it requires 5-digit zip codes, while the Canadian postal codes are 6 (7 if you include the middle space).

Did I somehow miss a module that has corrected this, lying around here somewhere, or are we Canucks SOL?

I'm still toying with it with no success. Is there a separate URL to use for Canadian origin shipments?

Link from this gentleman, should still be working. Will confirm if it does.

and it seems to be working well, so I would recommend it to those who are shipping via UPS from outside the U.S.

You may note that the contribution was written for Zen Cart version 1.2.5, and be worried about how it works with later versions, but I can report that it appears to be working well with Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

    Configured and working.

    Works based off weight.

Need to register with UPS, and get an account. That means you need to provide them with a credit card, even if you won't be shipping off this account.

You will need to sign up and get your "account key", then your "developers key" and use your "developers key" to get an "xml access key" which grants the module access to get a quote.

It's a long pain in the ###### process but it's the only way to do it. The end result is worth it though :)

If you ever get stuck on something in ZenCart, you can bet 50 others have and will as well. The least we can do (as beneficiaries) to support this great open source cart is contribute to it by helping to answer the noob questions.

Thanks for posting this - exactly what I was looking for.

One other related question: Can you confirm that this method supports the package dimensions and multiple packages?

    Much appreciated,

    Todd

I realize that this is old - but no, I didn't see any option for package SIZE, only weight. Multiple boxes option is supported.

What I ended up having to do is converting my products (which are large in size, but don't weigh much) to their "dimensional weight" equivalent for UPS.
    See: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/res...im_weight.html
    And: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/res...ight_size.html
