Left boxes resizing with content

I'm having trouble figuring out why the left boxes are resizing with whatever content is on different pages. I want them to stay the same size. I want the sizing to stay the same as it is on the home page including the main content area.

because your left sideboxes don't have any size set from within Admin section of your store.

go to admin > configuration > Layout settings

set the size for column width - left boxes .. ( in pixel like 150px ) .

also set size for column width - left . this is a main column wrapper . you can set it to same pixel size as your boxes or wider .
