Unavailable Shipping Options Showing Up at Checkout

Hey Fellow Zen Cart-ers,

We have recently started using Zone Rates Module for Free Shipping to any US residents and the USPS Module for International orders.

Running Zen 1.3.8a at this time.

The problem I am noticing is that when I view my shopping cart, the correct shipping method shows up and is quoted ...



And that's great.

But when I actually go in to check out, for US customers, it shows a box stating that USPS is not available as a shipping method and the Zone Rate box appears below that.


This works in reverse for International buyers. It shows the USPS Shipping options and a box stating that Zone Rate are not available.

Is there another way to set the shipping up or fix that would make the method not being used NOT show up on the Shipping Method checkout page?

I have a feeling that this is going to confuse some of our customers and lead to abandoned purchases.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you want USPS just for US Shipping, make a Zone Definition for:
Country: United States
Zones: All

If you want to use Zone Rates zones for International, then set the ...
Skip Countries to: US

Set Zone 1 to:
00

00 means everyone not otherwise defined ...
