When I follow the uninstall instruction to uninstall it, I got a 403 page. Does anybody know how to uninstall it?

I get it. The file name is "uninstall_backup_zc_files.php" and it is mentioned as "uninstall_backup_zc.php" in the readme file.

Is this plugin dead? no updates or posts since 2016 and it does not work, save or download. What simple answer am I missing this time? Since my 2 days of searching has me still looking for answers. Other than this is no longer active.

Since 2016, more and more hosts are providing means of backup to their customers in some form of control panel.

My backup set up is I just have automatic backups of the database, using the script in my github.
The files on the production server are mirrored from my local development server...which is in Onedrive/Dropbox, so they are covered there.
