I've looked at the EC module and i am not sure where to start.
PAYMEN ZONE; is set to none. I should change that to the zone as you suggested?
The only thing is, there are two possibilities. ( UK Tax or UK Mainland) UK Tax has 1 zone, country is UK and Zones: all zones.

UK mainland has 99 zones, country ;Uk and zones are the 99 counties.
Which one do i use?

Also here are some other settings that i am not sure of.
EC: require confirmed address, set to NO.
EC: select cheapest shipping automitically, set to yes.
EC: skip payment page, set to yes.
EC: automatic account creation , set to yes.
Payment action, set to final sale.
paypal page style, set to primary

Hi Soul39,

Yes I managed to solve the address not being in the admin by adding USA back into the database. I didnt get an order from this person so dont know if they were disallowed by my shipping settings.

If you only ship to the UK why add the USA?

The correct answer is: whichever one produces the desired end result.
I'm gonna guess that the one set up as I described earlier would be best: country=UK with Zones=all zones.

Those are all optional. Set them as you wish according to your needs. If you've got no reason to change them, then don't.

Hi, everyone.
This is an unusual one, someone from the USA managed to create an account, place an order and pay for it using PayPal, in my UK only store, How?
All the research i've done in the forum, says to remove the countries that you do not want to post to, I did that.

The only way i can see that happening is if the customer selects the
" please choose your country" .doing this, brings up an input box where the STATE/PROVINCE can be entered. How can this be prevented?

Okay, so I'm guessing that the customer used PayPal Express Checkout and chose their US address at PayPal, before returning back to your store where the account was created. And, since you deleted all the countries from it, your store doesn't have any countries left for it to match to, it couldn't match up the country, and thus left it blank.

Moving this thread to Bug Reports section so consideration can be given to ways to prevent the problem in the future.

NOTE: a fix will be in v1.3.9g

I have one for you DrByte. I had a customer from Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany create an account, place an order and checked out. All there info is in there account, name address etc. I don't ship anywhere except US, Canada, and GB. I offer paypal for payment and free shipping for orders of $175.00 and over. I don't know how they did that. I'm using Zen cart version: 1.3.9f

The original poster in this thread is using PayPal Express Checkout.
Same advice applies: Restrict your module to a zone that encompasses the locations from which you are willing to accept payment.

I'm assuming your are talking about going to my PayPal account to do that.
