I know, there are several threads with similar titles.
- Zencart 1.3.9f installed on live site and sandbox site.
- Database and zencart files are identical with the exception of database names and paths within the configure.php files.
- USPS and UPS shipping modules installed.
All is working just fine in both sites except on random occasions.....
- I am testing in the sandbox and all is fine.
- The address being used is my home address.
- Order placed and completed as expected.
- 2nd order placed and cannot be completed due to the "Sorry, not shipping to your area......"
- check live site and all is OK
- Maintenance mode true or false makes no difference
- Usually, the issue is "self-correcting" if you wait long enough, but makes for "Grumpy" customers.
Customers have also reported the issue on random basis. I first thought that it might be due to USPS or UPS servers being offline but the likelihood that both being offline at the same time is very low.
I suspect that the issue will have 'self corrected' by the time I receive a response, but suggestions for troubleshooting during the next time it happens would be appreciated.
