    Default HELP? Remove nav bar on TOP of page....

    Hi, I've asked on this before. No solution.

    On the default zen-cart storefront there is a green nav bar at the very top of the screen. It lists two links on the left side of the page, "Home" and "Log In" and on the right side it has the "Header Search" box. I don't know how to remove this bar. Any suggestions? Thank you!!

    You can turn the search off in Tools > Layout Boxes Controller > search_header.

    To stop the whole top navbar from displaying, you can comment out its code block in /includes/templates/your_template/common/tpl_header.php.
    Be aware that this also gives the shopping cart and checkout links when there is something in the cart, and the log off and my account links when logged in. You will need to replace those functions somewhere else.

    I'll try that...

    Well I still want links on the top of the page...but I don't want the BAR, I guess that's more of my issue with the Top nav links. Do you know how I'd go about fixing this?

    The bar is purely a styling issue. Look for #navMain and related selectors in your stylesheet.

    Thanks! That seemed easy enough! I don't know how I missed that...I still have an issue.

    How do i get the links on there to move to the right of the screen, I've tried text-align, it doesn't work.

    I've also found something else I want to tweak...below the header there is a nav bar that goes across the page and there is another one on the bottom. However, they're width are different. I've tried to change the styling code...I just don't know how to make the bars the same width.

    Try #navMain ul {float: right;}

    Styling issues are almost always easier to solve if we can see the site live.
