    Default Can I move a 1.3.9d to 1.3.9f install?

Regarding the article on "I want to move my Zen Cart installation to another host or a different server" at https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=100, I currently have a working 1.3.9d and want to move it to another server (both on GoDaddy) where I installed a new 1.3.9f. I'm hoping the changes in these versions are minor and won't affect the move and that since they are both 1.3.9x, there won't be any issues.

    Sorry about GoDaddy

You will have to move all the files of one version
Do not mix versions unless you know what you are doing

The instructions on the cited page say to install the same version, move the files, then upgrade later. I was hoping to avoid that since I already installed 1.3.9f on the new server.

By the way, should I have posted this in the upgrade section?

I may be wrong on this and could someone correct it if I am but according to the what I understand there is no need to update the database between 1.3.9d and 1.3.9f as per upgrade
instructions. So if you install 1.3.9f (empty database) you can take a data dump of the database that 1.3.9d is connected to and insert it into the database that 1.3.9f is
    connected to.
There may be some configuration tweaks after this, but someone with abit more knowledge on the subject should be able to confirm if this will work.

    Data dump?

Anyway, unless I hear something encouraging in the next hour or so, I'll uninstall the 1.3.9f and install 1.3.9d.

By the way, where do I find a copy of 1.3.9d to install?

    Thanks.

    ... and the 1.3.9e upgrade?

All versions are available at Sourceforge; you just have to look deeper to find older versions. There is no need to do a 1.3.9e install/upgrade separately from upgrading to 1.3.9f, but you need to pay attention to all relevant changelogs.

Sourceforge has only 1.3.7, 1.3.8, 1.3.9 and 1.3.9f that I can see. No 9.d or 9.e. They do not have the minor revisions.

At this point I'm thinking I'm better off upgrading my 9d to 9f and then moving it to a new 9f install. Do you agree?

    Thanks again for your help.

    The minor revisions are under
    All Files
    CURRENT_ Zen Cart 1.3.x Series
Zen Cart v1.3.9 - Full Release <-----click here to see minors.

Upgrading now on a known server, and then moving, may be the best idea.
