    Default HTML Edit?

Hi, I'm new to this PHP stuff, I'm much more comfortable with HTML.

If I understand correctly HTML coding is still there but the customization and scrips are pulled in by css & php codes?

How do I edit the HTML code for the main page? I'm going crazy over here trying to locate the file.

When I selected "view source" on my website, it comes up. So I know it's there. I just don't know where to look. Thank you!

Depends what HTML you're wanting to change, and why.

Right now I'm just looking to make a few tweaks to the main page. By the way, I'm using EZPages. Thanks for your response.

If you're wanting to tweak EZ-Page content, just edit it via the EZ-Page editor in your admin.

Thank you....I want to edit the HTML code. Do you know where I need to go to access this? I don't want to go page by page via EZPages, I hope to pull away from EZPages eventually. Thank you.

I have no idea what *exactly* you're wanting to edit.

Zen Cart is an advanced dynamic content system, and builds the page HTML from multiple sources based on what's requested for each type of page needed. It's a system of templates and logic, with each system determining which segment of information is drawn when it's needed, and excluded when it's not.

You're talking in way too general terms about wanting to edit HTML. It's impossible to look into my crystal ball and guess what it is you're wanting to do, let alone the "why" behind it.

As DrByte has said, there's not really any html to edit with Zen Cart. Pages are built on the fly based on the request made by the user (customer). If you give us a better idea of what you want to accomplish, we can give you better advice.
