So what did the host say? To make a long story short:
"It's your problem, not ours. The SSL is working fine. ZenCart needs to stop relying on server settings and work independently of the server."
Funny, I've worked with 10-15 installations of ZenCart and never had this problem before...

Clearly they've configured it contrary to even how litespeed recommends.
Frankly if they're uncooperative, I'd find someone else who is. Do you really want to run your business on a hosting platform who can't run things properly?
