usps module not showing as option

I have only the usps shipping module enabled. In the settings for usps shipping module, I have it set to enabled, production, and the usps web tools user ID is correct.

I have also called USPS and had them take my account out of production which they did so now it should show live.

So my account is active, the user id is correct, it's set in Zen cart to enabled and production and yet during checkout there is no option for the usps (which stops me from checking out). It only works if I enable a store-pickup or other shipping module. Also the shipping quote will not display a shipping quote option (only the store pick-up if I enable).

Why wouldn't usps option show during checkout or in the shipping calculator?

Got it! Apparantly setting and item to: free shipping (during testing) should be changed back to: "No normal shipping rules" before checking out and posting errors in this forum!
