    Default UPS Shipping Module Doesn't Work...help?

    This is the error I receive from the UPS module when I get to the shipping selection screen of the check out process.

    "We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
    Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown."


    My Zen-Cart version is: v1.3.9d

    My settings for the UPS module are:

    United Parcel Service

    Enable UPS Shipping
    True

    UPS Pickup Method
    CC

    UPS Packaging?
    CP

    Residential Delivery?
    RES

    Handling Fee
    0

    Handling Per Order or Per Box
    Box

    Tax Class
    --none--

    Tax Basis
    Shipping

    Shipping Zone
    --none--

    Sort order of display.
    0

    Shipping Methods:

    Did you set a valid 5 digit US zip code in the Shipping/Packaging settings?

    What are your settings for Maximum and the two Tare settings?

    Hi Ajeh,

    Thanks for replying. My store is located in Canada so I used a valid Canadian postal code and made sure the country of origin was set to Canada.

    As for the Tare settings, I have currently left them at their default values, which are:
    0:3 for the small to medium packages
    10:0 for the larger packages

    Anything else I may be missing?

    Are you using the UPS XML? The default UPS is for shipping from the US ...

    Hmm, now I will admit I'm kind of lost. I am using the pre-installed UPS module that comes with Zen and I have not made any other additions or changes to the store, so I'm at a bit of a loss when you refer to a separate UPS XML. I'm new to Zen and just installed my store a few months ago and am finally getting around to setting it all up. I really don't want to trouble you with all these questions, since I'm sure you have better things to do. Is there any read-me or documentation that I can read about how to set up the UPS module for Canadian or non-USA stores? If so, could you point me in the right direction? That would be much appreciated.

    There is a Free Software Add On for UPS XML ... this is for UPS shipping from other countries outside the US ...

    The one that comes with Zen Cart is for shipping from the US ...
