Transaction Central (TransFirst) problem.

I am trying to use Transaction Central (TransFirst) 1.0.5.0 with Zen Cart 1.3.9f. My host is Host Monster.

I have tried both the TFHosted and the HTTPS Post methods on a test account. After I input the credit card number (using 4111111111111111) and hit submit, the screen goes blank.

The url of this blank screen is http://www.mrbeautysupply.com/storef...No+such+Issuer

The merchant is saying that it is a posting issue and that I should talk to my host. Host monster is saying that it isn't a problem on their end.

Hopefully I just have a box checked wrong somewhere.

That module is using old methods of error reporting, and as such is triggering a spam alert filter which is causing the server to display the blank page.

The module needs to be rewritten to use $messageStack output instead of setting error_message values in the URL.

It hangs for the reason I stated above. The module needs coding updates.

Zete, are you also using hostMonter? I am working with TransFirst to see if they can update this module. Hopefully they will be able to soon!

It seems like other people are able to use this module, and I'm wondering if it is because they are using a different host. Maybe there is something that can be done about this spam alert filter?

I am using bluehost and version v1.3.9g of Zen Cart.

It looks like if you enter erroneous CC card number it 'hangs'.
If I enter a correct CC card , right date and CCV2 it works.

Thanks for the information. It took a while but I finally figured out how to fix it.

As soon as I verify it tomorrow I'll upload it. I wish there was more dev info available. I guess I'll just have to start poking around the forums.

somewhere on zen-cart.com I saw a list of function in a payment module, but it's lost now. The only way I know is study the built in modules and modify them. I suspect that is true for any template. Not much in the way of books out there
