What is impact of deleting product from catalog?

Hi

If I delete a product from my catalog, will I lose all history of that product? Products viewed? Products purchased? Customer orders? Sales report?

Yes you will ...

You could set the Product to be Out of Stock and it will not show on the Shop ...

Or, if you track stock, you could set the quantity to 0 and then it will be marked as Sold Out and cannot be purchased ...

When I know that I won't inventory a product any longer, I deactivate it when the inventory gets to 0.
