Using Zen Cart for Secret Santa? Details Inside.

People down on their luck submit needed items to our non-profit in hopes of someone buying the items they need.

On Zen Cart, could I add these items people need as products, and when someone "adds them to cart" they will disappear from the website? They aren't actually buying these items from the website itself.

Basically, someone comes to the website, picks out items that they are going to buy for the person, they add to cart, fill out contact info, and the items disappear. the person will then take their "receipt" of the items, buy them at the store and drop them off at our location.

Does this sound like something ZC can do?

Yeah, I think this can be done, but I need to think on it some more. Are you going to add the products just for the specific person?

it would need to be each individual item listed, not just the person.
