Default Empty configure.php file in admin/includes

I am upgrading from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9g. I've managed to upgrade the database. I have saved all of the files I've changed. I am this close to being able to entertain the idea of going live, but the config file in admin/includes is empty. It's installed in test folder. Can I delete it and take the dist-configure.php and rename it?

The front end is good, if you don't include that the template isn't there yet. All of the info from the active store is there.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Marci

    NO
dist-configure.php is a generic container for the correct settings
Settings need to be correct for it to function

red flag Re: Empty configure.php file in admin/includes

So what do I do then? How do I deal with this? Is the configure.php file virtually the same as the one I have in my current store?

    Thanks,

    Marci

It should be, only if the DB name, user or pass has changed and/or if you are relocating where the cart resides i.e. like in a folder or not

That is something I can do. It's pretty easy. Thank you, kobra. :)

The file should be the same as you had in your old site, save for changed paths.

Got it, Dr. Byte. And thank you! It's working. Now, all I have to do is finish this install on the test site and move it before anyone buys anything. (Working furiously. grin)

And I just found the Down for Maintenance, so it's down for maintenance, but I plan to have it up again in an hour or so. Yeah!
