Not using a payment gateway

I am currently on v1.3.9e. My client has requested that I configure the shopping cart to nto authorize the credit card upon checkout. She wants to accept credit cards, but she manually calculates shipping once everything is packed and wants the credit card information available to her to charge the card manually at the time of shipping.

She does not use a payment gateway so I cannot even configure the credit card option.

I would like to allow the user to enter their credit card information, but not authorize upon checkout.

Is this possible?

You could use the Ceon Manual Card mod in Free Addons - but read the moderator note on that page first, and decide if your client is willing to take the risk.
