Need Help Remove Quanity per item;

I need help removing quanity per item in my 1.3.9 Zencart. Right now I only have one addon - Quantity Discount.

On my order page where customer choose a product under the picture of the product it shows •Model: 2" Double Edge Taped Trim•1001 Units in Stock. I don't want it to show how many are available. If I put 0 a stamp comes out saying "sold out". I don't want the total quantity available & I don't want sold out to show. Where do I fix this? This is in customer view.

Also, Configuration>My Store>Show Category Counts>False will remove the counts from the category list box. I just found that instruction in this forum and it was the answer I was looking for and could not recall.

For some reason neither one of these suggestions worked. When I go to my online catalog & see my product, underneath the picture it still shows the weight of the item as well as the quantity which right now is set to 1000 but as mentioned if I put 0 a stamp will be over the product saying out of stock. 1.3.9f is the version Zen Cart I am using. I did Admin - Catalog - Product Types but there was not the option of Edit Layout. Any other suggestions?

admin > catalog > prodct types > product general > at far right "edit layout" > set settings

Thid is only the display and does not control the calculation - -
You need to select the proper settings in
admin > config > stock >

I am having the same problem.
I tried Configuration / Product Listings / Display Quanity =0
However Zencart is still displaying the quanity!
Could this be a bug in the software?
If you find out please let me know.

Go to Configuration - Stock - Check stock level make it false and you need to go to Show Sold Out Image in place of Add to Cart and set it to 0 so you won't see Sold out button.
