Order does not appear in admin section unless I search by number

Hi, I have freshly installed version 1.3.9d.

For testing purposes I defined a customer and added some articles.

When the customer orders an article he receives the confirmation email. The number of available products is decreased by one. However, in the admin section I don't see the order when I look in the Customers/Orders menu. The screen is empty at the start. Only when I search for the specific order number, it does appear.

I expect that there would be a central place where the shop owner is notified about all orders.

Is there some settting that I still have to change?
What is the normal way that the shop owner is notified about new orders?

This sounds like you do not have the Modules ... Order Total ... Total ot_total installed ...

If you go to the Modules ... Order Total ... do you see the Total ot_total is installed?

What color is the icon for it?

What is its Sort Order?

When I go to Modules in the admin section, I see only three menu entries:
(translated by me from Dutch)

Payment method
Shipment method
Invoice structure

So, nothing about Order Total.

I have a relatively fresh installation. Did I have to install this additional module?

Try the Modules ... Invoice structure ...

Do you see things like the:

COD Fee ot_cod_fee
Discount Coupon ot_coupon 280
Group Discount ot_group_pricing 290
Gift Certificates ot_gv 840
Low Order Fee ot_loworderfee 400
Shipping ot_shipping 200
Sub-Total ot_subtotal 100
Tax ot_tax 300
Total ot_total 999

NOTE: if not installed there will not be a Sort Order ...

If you look in your database via phpMyAdmin and browse the table:
orders_total

and do a search on the:
orders_id

for one of these Orders that you do not see ... what records come up for it?

The ot_total is installed, the icon is green, the sort order is 9999.

I attached a screenshot from phpMyAdmin while in the orders_total table.

orders_status

and post what you see?

I can not browse table order_status. phpMyAdmin answers: table seems to be empty.

The table order_status_history contains 4 orders. For each of them oder_status_id and customer_notified equal 1.

If you go to your Zen Cart Admin and go to the Localization ... Orders Status ... what do you see?
