Customer Box (on Admin Home Page) missing details

Hello all,
After Upgrading to 1.3.9h from 1.3.9g (and im pretty sure the same thing happened from 1.3.9f to 1.3.9g) the customers box on the Admin Homepage has the customers name missing (any new customers will show up, just those before the upgrade do not).

I am aware you can view these details by going to the customers panel, however this is obviously an issue.

This is the same on a list of sites that I have upgraded, none of which have the same addons etc

Any ideas?

I have fixed this quickly by commenting out line 124 and 125 in /admin/index.php

//$customers->fields['customers_firstname'] = zen_output_string_protected($customers->fields['customers_firstname']);

    //$customers->fields['customers_lastname'] = zen_output_string_protected($customers->fields['customers_lastname']);

This obviously removes the protection from XSS but why does this function stop this from working?

Put the code back and check that your file, on the server, for:
/admin/includes/functions/general.php

is current ...

I too am having the same problem when upgrading from 1.3.9g > 1.3.9h. Was working in 1.3.9g but have updated to 1.3.9h and now no new customer data is appearing.

Any new news on this? I've checked my admin/includes/functions/general.php file and it is the one that is included in the 1.3.9h full file set.
