Just upgraded to 1.3.9h and everything was working fine. Then suddenly the storefront just gives a blank screen.
The debug log says
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/username/public_html/dev/includes/modules/attributes.php on line 229
No files were changed from the time this was working to the time it gave a blank page. Debug file only showed once and does not show more files upon refresh of screen.

Well, since there's nothing wrong with the /includes/modules/attributes.php file in the core Zen Cart files, and since that file wasn't touched as part of v1.3.9h, I'm not sure where your problem is coming from.
It's up to you how you go about fixing whatever "suddenly" broke..
