replicate 'all products' view in subcategories

Hi there

I'm just wondering whether anyone can answer the following question...

I much prefer the layout that results when viewing products in 'all products' view or 'new products' view (laid out vertically with horizontal dividers between product descriptions), when compared to the usual products view within a subcategory.

Q: Is there a relatively straightforward way to replicate the 'all products' view to appear on the normal within-subcategory 'products view' pages...?

I just find the 'all products' view a lot cleaner and easier on the eye..

See the "Using one single listing template" thread. There is also a version of this in Free Addons, but I believe it is set up to use the product listing as the model.
