Ok I got my logo centered! (woo hoo!!!)

But how do I remove the lighter colored box?

I do not know what box you are referring to but the only "lighter" area that I see is the body background
If this is what you want to change then in the templates stylesheet.css file find this and enter what ever color you want to replace the highlighted color

body {margin: 0;font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 62.5%;color: #888787;background-color: #ffebf2;}

Ok, I found the lighter color comes from the header-bk.jpg on line 60.
Can I delete that? What would the code look like if I were to try? This is the code now:
60 #headerWrapper {background:#fff url(../images/header-bk.jpg) no-repeat center top;margin-top:25px;}

Also the light color seems to cover the middle all the way down.... How do I change that?

Do not delete it just change it

Or you could alter the image to make the design darker your option

If you want to make css changes, the easiest way is to use chrome and the web developer tools. You can right click to inspect the element and it will tell you which line of which file you need to change.

Is there a way to change the way the items are displayed? I would like to have the picture links like 4 across and 4 down, not a list...

I would like each of the categories to look exactly the way the home page does. With the products not in a "list" looking page...

Also is it possible to make the picture of the item change as you choose from dropdown list?
