Integration to Accounting packages

Hi There.

Has any of you knowledge of how to integrate to an accounting package eg. MYOB in Australia. that would save me a lot of time?

I have looked at this too as this is how our books are setup, but havent seen anything.
Has anyone else ??

These tend to be complicated modules and there is one for Qiuick Books that the author spent much time creating. I do not know of any one in the communuty working on one for MYOB.

For those in Australia that are using Myob or Quickbooks I am interested in knowing how you find the quickbooks mod.
Depending on peoples thoughts and how well it works, we are considering moving to quickbooks to use the mod and make it easier than doing a lot of double entering that we are doing at present.
Also with GST how ae most people doing this in the store per item, or including it in the total price?


All comments would be welcomed to work out what will be the best and easiest as I cannt afford to get the myob mod done on my own.

Hi All,

I joined the MYOB Developers program and have written an application that reads from the ZenCart mySQL database and imports directly into MYOB. The import includes Customer Card Files, Invoices and Payments at the click of a button. The program can also import statements from the Protx, Paypal and American Express websites so reconciling in MYOB is a doddle.

We are using The Artful Ledger. They have designed their accounting software to include a link to your zencart. This downloads all sales info. Much much easier. They can be found at artfulledger.com.au. The staff are also very helpful and never complain when I ring and ask stupid questions because accounting is a foreign language to me! Cheers Jazzah
