disabling reviews for gift certificates

It's probably a simple question although I have looked through the admin panel but can't see an obvious way to disable reviews for certain products or categories of products.. ie seems odd to allow reviews of gift certificates, for example, when browsing them on product listing pages..

I tried Admin> Catalog> Product types> Product - Free Shipping> Edit Layout> Show Product Reviews Count, Show Product Reviews Button (both set to 0) which ought to turn off reviews for gift certs but it didn't seem to work...

eta I also changed my 'gift certs' category to be restricted to product type 'free shipping' and the gift certs are showing as 'prouct-free shipping' in their respective admin product pages, but it still doesn't work...

It seems unlikely anyone would submit a review for a Gift Certificate, but if you want to remove that button from those pages, you could create a category-specific stylesheet (in a stock Zencart installation, the GC category is 21, so the name of the stylesheet would be c_21.css) and place this in it:

#productReviewLink {display:none;}

Thanks stevesh - yes I agree, seems unlikely that anyone would submit a review for a cert, hence I thought I'd try to remove the button..

I'll try what you suggested, thanks. Presumably that stylesheet would need to reside in /includes/templates/[custom]/css/ ?

As a matter of interest, and to improve my understanding - any idea why the method I tried (via the admin panel) didn't work...?
