    Default Google Checkout not retuning order info.

    Hello all,

    ZenCart v1.3.9h
    New install http://www.efpsupply.com & https://www.efpsupply.com
    only added the google checkout

    All HTTP and HTTPS links are up and running
    google checkout works fine, payment is made and all notices go out.

    HOWEVER

    now that the SSL is all setup, any thoughts on the retuning of info from the google checkout
    to fill in the zencart order ? as it now will not and I can not track the order in zencart, nor is an account
    setup required in zencart to proceed with the checkout.

    So when google sends me my order recipt I click on the order details and it takes me to my site "of course"
    then zencart asks to log in "of course" but there is no account to log into. "my site"

    So... Should we be forcing an account setup in zencart ?
    OR should the google be sending all the info back to the https://www.efpsupply.com/googlechec...nsehandler.php ?
    google is trying but erros with

    "This is today NOV 17th" I did this testing,

    Error: We encountered an error trying to access your server at https://www.efpsupply.com/googlechec...nsehandler.php
    -- the error we got is Error 'TIMEOUT' connecting to url 'https://www.efpsupply.com/googlecheckout/responsehandler.php'.

    google thinks it is Nov 14th for some reason ??

    but it seems they can not get back to zencart to fill it in IF that is what is happening ? Not sure on what it is trying to send back.
    but the address is good, the path is correct, as you can put it in and call the file as shown, so not sure what is to be happening or
    what is NOT happening that should be.

    so this is the last hurtle for the site as everything else seems to be fine. "I think :-)"

    I'm getting the same timeout error but the date is ok.

    response_message log and error log report no errors. I am at a loss, been working on this for days. Sandbox and live both work but the orders don't show up in the admin. I have to check my account at google to see if orders are there.

    Checked and double checked everything. Don't know why it times out.

    I woke up this morning and the sale is in my admin section

    BUT it never sent me an email to let me know of the sale.

    I can send from the admin to the customers, so I know I have it configured right for sending mail with smtpauth. I will look into the send mail when sale section and see if I can see anything.

    I did find out the timeout errors are when google is trying to communicate with my server and my server isn't responding. This can be from a mistake on my side or the slowness of the server. Mine happened to be slowness on the servers side. I contacted my hosting company and they looked into allowing me more bandwidth and processor speed by setting me up on a private virtual server.

    Works now.
