Admin Login Not Connecting

I've gone throuh more posts, internet forums, and online documentation than I did in college, and I still can't seem to find the way to align the stars just right to make this work!

My phpinfo is attached.

my phpMyAdmin 2.11 is up and running find, i've got a Lampp install with PHP 5.1.6 and MYSQL 5.0.77.

I really need to get my Zen Cart Going, and I'm having issues. I cant' get into my Admin tools...

i get the login page, but when i fill out the form, it just loops back to the login screen.

I've changed the .htaccess file, and it had no effect on the page, but I'm not sure what the action is for that.

I'm not an expert Linux Guy, so finding error log files and such are not straight forward.

Red Hat Linux...
