Deleting "Information" categories

Hi There,

i checked the tutorials and couldn't find documentation on this subject. I would like to delete a few categories within the "Information" section....specifically "gift certificate, newsletter unsubcribe etc... Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Admin - Modules - Order Total to turn off Gift Certificates and Discount Coupons.

Admin - Configuration - Email Options for Newsletter Unsubscribe.

Configuration > Define Page Status.
Turn off any that you don't want displayed. Some of the links depend on whether their function is activated.
For Gift Certificates, go to Modules > Order Total and disable the GC module.

okay so I got rid of the newsletter and some other sutff but i'm a little miffed at the "gift certificates" I just want to remove the link from the homepage.

In Admin - Modules - Order Total - ....do I just remove the gift certificate module all together?

Don't delete files, just turn it off in the admin page.
Do you still want to use GCs but not have the link? That will be more complicated.

I don't want gift certificates at all.

So if I go to Admin - Modules - Order Total - Gift Certificates.....do i then just click "remove"? I don't see any other way of turning this off.
