I've looked online and all I could find was creating a Facebook like button on the products page, I was wondering how to create a Facebook like button on the main page.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

That really depends a LOT on where you want it.......Header, footer, sidebox, smack dab in the middle of the page ..........?

The first one you posted :).
Do you already have your image uploaded to your images folder ?
Okay, find and open includes/templates/classic/common/tpl_main_page.php
if you've never edited this file, the you should find it in the same place in templat_default.
In that file, find this line:
and directly beneath it add something like this:Code:<!-- eof breadcrumb -->
Of course, you'll have to use your own FaceBook ID and image name, but that should get you off to a good start.Code:<div id="facebook"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001272037048" target="_blank"><img src="images/fb_button.jpg" alt="" /> </a></div>
Sorry so long about the post........got a little tied up.

Hey, thanks dude :). No problem at all abut the time, you were nice enough to answer at all :).
I used the Facebook tool at facebook.com/share to come up with this code. it puts a like button and tells how many people have liked it already and likes it for you on facebook and if youre not signed in, it pops up with a sign in pop up. My main problem was knowing where to put this code and i put in the same place as you told me to put the other code and it worked great :) Here's my site http://epcommunications.net/ check it out if you want
<iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpages%2FEP-Communications%2F124300277629737%23&layout=standard&show_faces=true& width=450&action=like&font=arial&colorscheme=light&height=80" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:80px;" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>
Looks good. Glad I could help.

The way you have set this up is to "like" your facebook page not your website page.
As you don't appear to have a link to your facebook page
Is this what you intended?
Normally you would "like" the website page so the website link is pasted onto those peoples facebook wall
Anyone clicking their link would take them to your website.
Now it takes them to your facebook page
