Almost starting over

I stopped upgrading my Zen Cart site about a year ago due to other priorities.

At my age I am lucky if I can remember what I had for breakfast and have forgottten how I go to where I am.

I can get into my Admin and I can see my site (PosCheap.com). I have upgraded to 9f recently.

I want to make some changes to the override templates but have no ida how to get there I think I renmeber that I could make changes to templates on my computer for testing purposes and then if it looked good, could transfer the changes to the server throgh the use of a product like Fiilezilla.


I recently had a much larger Hard Drive installed in my computer and the person transferring the data from one HD to the new one did a poor job. I could be missing essential program that are used with ZC.

I just backed up the files on my server to my computer.

I remember I used XAMMP and have reinstalled it.

I do have the ZC book which is about 8 years old

I don't want to lose what I have in my present admin and the programs on the server.


What I don't remember is how to get to the local ZC programs to change template information.

One other thing. There was a program that would search the templates for certain words but don't remember the name of the program.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please let me know of any other information you need.

You can switch the template in:

Tools=> Template Selection

You can search for almost any word in your catalog:

Tools=> Developers Tool Kit

These are all in the admin panel.
