    Default USPS First Class International - Adding a comment on check out

    I started offering First Class International a few months ago to try and offer cheaper shipping to my OS customers. However, my post office does not issue tracking numbers for First Class International. I have had several customers ask for tracking and I cannot give it to them. So I would like a statement to show up next to the option stating that no tracking would be given, so they can elect to pay more for priority international instead.

    I tried to edit usps.php on that line, but then the option did not show up. So is there a way I can put it in there? I have stated it in my terms and conditions, but no one ever reads that kind of thing anyway. I just want them to be aware.

    You could change the code to read:
    Code:
              $cost = preg_replace('/[^0-9.]/', '',  $cost);
              if ($type == 'First-Class Mail International Package') {
                $title .= ' (No Tracking)';
              }

    I would customize the USPS shipping module in:
    /includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

    and find the line in black and add the code in red below it ...

    I tried using this code and nothing changed
    I am using the
    "USPS January 2, 2011 C"
    version of the USPS module you wrote.

    Did you do the REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure on the USPS Shipping module?

    If you click on it, what do you see on the right panel?

    What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

    What is the Ship From and Ship To addresses that you are testing?

    What is the Weight that you are testing?

    Yes I have tried using the method of removing - installing - configuring and still no luck

    This is what I see:
    United States Postal Service
    $67.50 Global Express Guaranteed Non-Document Rectangular (1 - 3 business days)
    $35.75 Express Mail International (3 - 5 business days)
    $30.50 Priority Mail International (6 - 10 business days)
    $12.39 First-Class Mail International Package** (Varies by country)

    (the price is actually on the right side but when I copied and pasted it comes on the left side)

    The Ship From and Ship To address are both United Kingdom address

    I'm testing with the weight of 1lbs and package tare of 0:0
