Fresh install of 1.3.9h and get a blank login screen

Hi all
Have looked at many post today trying to fix the error. Started out with an upgrade from 1.3.9g to h and got a blank login screen.

Spent a few hours trying to fix it and gave up. So did a brand new install and followed all the points. Now I have the same problem.

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.' in /home/truffles/public_html/***admin***/includes/auto_loaders/config.core.php on line 94

have changed the admin folder and re uploaded all the files. Have checked the configure.php files and they are pointing to the correct folder.

The shop is working just cannot log in. This is my last attempt to get a fix as I cannot figure anything else out

tried uploading files again and check permission plus the configure file and still the same

Looking at the config.core.php file I noticed that the admin folder name had not been changed when I changed the folder to another name. I correct this but still a blank screen!

Cache error is the same when trying to log in ;

Found the fault.
When I used dreamweaver to change the ADMIN folder name it asked if I wanted to update the links. I said yes.

It messed up the config.core.php file;
admin/includes/auto_loaders/config.core.php

If you are having problems with a blank login screen after changing the admin flder name try uploading a new config.core.php file.

It worked for me!

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Dreamweaver to edit a php file or it's FTP for file upload and one will not see this issue
