Cloning USPS Shipping Module

I am trying to clone the USPS shipping module by renaming everything in the includes/modules/shipping and includes/languages/english/modules/shipping files from USPS to USPSCLONE. After doing this, the following shows up on screen at the customers checkout:

United States Postal Service
We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

The customer info entered is correct, zip code and address.

Any ideas?

Could you expand on why you need to clone the USPS shipping module?

Assuming you are using Zones on the USPS shipping module, what is your Zone Definition for?

Did you check that your Zone Definition DETAILS is setup correctly?

What is the Ship To that you are trying to use?

What is the weight of the product?

What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping Packaging?

I'm cloning it because I need to set up two separate shipping options for, one for one manufacturer, and another for the rest of my products.
I'm not using zones.
No USPSCLONE ship to works, but the default USPS module that comes with zen cart works.

I doesn't work on any product weight.

My shipping/packaging config is:
