Making an About Us page

Hi. Thanks for the help in advance. I'm still new to ZenCart

I created a new page through EZ Pages. I made an About Us page (circumventing the module method). The only problem is that it gets a link of: "index.php?main_page=page&id=5"

I want it to have the link structure of the PHP files that already are installed with zencart. For example:
"index.php?main_page=contact_us"

I would like it to say "index.php?main_page=about_us"

How can I change the EZ Pages link structure then to follow what the actual page name is called? Thanks again.

You can't, at least without installing an "SEO" rewriting mod.
If you must do that, the CEON mod is probably best, as it would allow you to individually specify the link form.

Let me ask you this.

Can I add a PHP file under the "Define Pages Editor" that is basically like the privacy page (define_privacy.php). I tried to copy the privacy page and rename it "about_us.php" but this didn't bring an about_us.php under the dropdown on "Define Pages Editor". I know I would have to do something else to get another page for the Define Pages. Let me know if this is possible. Thanks again.

Get the "About Us" mod from Free Addons. It describes all the files and procedures necessary to create a new define page.
