Hi,
From January UK VAT is going to go up to 20% so I'm going to need 3 vat rates EU: 17.5%, UK 20% and International 0%
I have 3 zones set up - UK, EU and International with the relevant countries in.
I have 3 tax classes - UK VAT, VAT and VAT Exempt
In tax rates I have 3 entries:
1. Tax Class: VAT Exempt; Zone: International; Tax rate: 0%
2. Tax Class: VAT; Zone: EU; Tax rate: 17.5%
3. Tax Class: UK VAT; Zone: UK; Tax rate: 17.5%
3 questions.
1. Which tax class do I choose when adding products bearing in mind that UK vat will change from January?
2. I want to show the prices including VAT and take it off at checkout if the person is an international buyer.
3. In the checkout page, the calculation shows the VAT correctly but the total doesn't include it no matter where I say I'm from. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Jeff from Numinix gave me a hand with the COWA system so if I've not made any mistakes then I'll send him an email.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard
