I have done multiple fresh installs and cannot get it to work correctly. My catalog and admin area both don't show any images but the url and alternate text are there.

nevermind i placed a support ticket with my hosting company it was an .htaccess issue, whatever that is. Any way he changed it to htaccess.old. What is that file anyway?

There are many of them and to assist in preventing you from being hackedWhat is that file anyway?
As htaccess.old it is not being used nor protecting you
If there was an issue they should determine what the issue is and correct it but not disable it in it's entiretyZen-Venom Get Bitten
