Nickname Max characters

Hi, I am trying to find how to set a maximum characters for Nickname and telephone fields on the Create Account form.
I have just done a new install of 1.3.9 with the nickname mod.
I can see where the minimum values are but any assistance in setting up maximum values will be much appreciated

Hi DrByte. I have another app that uses this information and it has a restricted character length for the fields that relate to this info.

As far as Zen Cart's built-in fields, it typically reads the length from the database field and uses that to enforce the max number of chars being input.
If you follow the same pattern as that for your own custom fields, you'll get the same results.
Or you could hard-code the max into your template's form input fields for them, directly.

The last little bit is how could I set the telephone field to only accept numbers?

I also would like to know how to make the telephone field accept only numbers and not letters.
Help would be appreciated.
