red flag Product Title Meta Tag Overide Failure

Hi, I've never posted a new thread before, but I am always incredibly grateful to members whose posts I search for answers on a regular basis. Now though I cannot find a suitable answer so I'm pleading with anyone for help.

I'm currently using ZenCart and it has been behaving perfectly (until now!) at the following address: http://www.planetpolish.com

I need to be able to directly specify the Title Tags for each product to help with SEO but when I make the changes within admin (by clicking on the Black Nuclear Symbol, which then turns orange) the changes never actually occur and the page Title remains the same.

I have not changed the meta_tags.php file since the original insert.

Am I missing an obvious config setting somewhere?

Any guidance would make my Christmas!

    Paul

When editing your Meta Tags using the "Black Nuclear Symbol" mark Title: Yes. and everything else No. That will give you a page title of something like: "Paint Seal+Shine: 250ml". And that will be all that is displayed. If you want the price to show, then mark it Yes, as with any other details. Just play around with them, and you'll see what each one does by marking either Yes or No.

I get that, but I need to start embedding additional Keywords into my Titles, for instance on the Wheel Seal + Shine Page it currently shows "Wheel Seal + Shine: 250ml [PP0007] : Planet Polish, A World of Difference"

But I need it to read "Wheel Seal & Shine, Alloy Wheel Sealant, Protection from brake dust and dirt" as I have specified in the admin panel.

But it does not overide, why??!

Hmmm......that's a good question. As it is right now, it shouldn't show ANYTHING but "Wheel Seal & Shine, Alloy Wheel Sealant, Protection from brake dust and dirt".........not even the Products' name.
I'm not sure what would be causing this.

Maybe DrByte will pick up on this thread eventually, and be able to answer this.
