Duplicate orders with Authorize.net AIM

I'm using 1.39f and am getting duplicate orders in authorize.net but only the one id in zen. Seems to be random but only ie. Any ideas? I thought Doc said you could set something to not allow duplicate charges in a certain time frame in auth.net merch admin but i dont see that. I'm desperate as this keeps happening.

Duplicate orders from the *same* customer? Or duplicate purchases of the same amount, but actually for different customers doing a checkout at exactly the same time?

Hi DrByte.
They are Duplicate orders from the *same* customer, same order id but only 1 shows in zen but 2 in auth.net. What happens is they fill out the credit card and it tells them there was a credit card error(which in fact there wasnt and their card was charged) then when they fill it in again and submit it, it charges again.

• I'm using zen 1.39f
• I haven't upgraded zen this was the original install
• I installed two modules, super orders and create orders about the time this started happening but removed them thinking those were it and it happened again.
• I have customized the styles of the site moved a few things around but didnt touch the payment or checkout pages.

• didnt find anything in the faq area to answer my question
• I tested all aspects but this seems to be random because i was only able to recreate this once

What exactly is the "error that wasn't there"?

Turn on the debug logging in the AIM module, and post the logs after recreating the exact same problem.
