While in Admin - after editing any page - SAVE page blank

Any help would be appreciated... this i latest version of ZC... The only thing I have changed in any of the pages was changing ZenCart!, to my store name...

Most areas, I have just learned to go back one page to enter item... but now, I cannot even add a product, as the page is blank.

Please help.

I would check your admin/includes/languages/english.php file, and replace it with a fresh copy if necessary.

Also, you've revealed your custom admin folder name to the world, so you'll need to change that again. I would recommend something that doesn't have 'admin' in the name.

Thank you for letting me know... it does not seem to be the english page...

For admin issue:

I renamed folder.. and changed the configuration page within that folder to a new name in three places.

I can login ok.. but again... if I try to add a product - BLANK PAGE.

If I undo all of my changes, rename folder... if I try to add a product - Blank page.

It is only after I replace the files again with a fresh copy.. (even though I did an undo to the three changes, and confirmed they reverted) that I can view the add products page.

This same thing is happening if I change any page it seems... I changed the meta tag page with the same result, replacing Zen Cart! with AWMIV.

Try to add product... cannot.. undo the change, try to add, cannot. Replace file, and all is ok again.

I just did a fresh install of the zen cart... and all the same things happen... BAFFLING TO ME...

Any help would be so welcomed!

public_html/NEW NAME HERE/includes/configure.php

The above file is the one you need to edit as it for your Admin section.

BTW, when providing a path used you only need to start with public_html/ ... as whatever is used before public_html is not something needed nor should it be provided; else others will know and that's not good.

Yes.. that is indeed the one I edited... And thanks for the heads up.. I wonder if I can have these removed... but I will avoid in future...

If I make a change to any page.. i can edit, and save, but the page disappers. In the case of adding a new product... I get a blank page. so I cannot do anything...

And I get that little symbol on most pages as well... which may mean something... (I know that is a tag, but why it shows up if I make a change to a page...) I am not deleting any ticks, or semi-colons...

I read one of your other posts... I was using Expression Web to edit the files... I used the built in text editor on my host... changed everything and it works fine now... as far as I can tell.....

Moderator's comment: site URL in first post removed but you should still rename your admin using a harder to guess name.

Note to all: zc_admin, adm1n, adm and the like are NOT HARD TO GUESS. Make it *hard to guess*. 8+ alphanumeric characters.
