Secured Pages with SSL after Zen Cart install

I'm having a lot of issues with this, I have check every form, and FAQ but have not been able to find an answer.

I have been running a Zen Cart Store for some time now, I have just Purchased a SSL Cert. and it's installed and running. I have created a location called secure.Your_Site.ca, currently have Your_site.ca. When I turn on the SSL to "true" I get page not found. I'm trying to secure only the Login/register, Checkout, Payment and any customer infomation sites.

What pages need to be moved to the secure.Your_Site.ca location in order for this to work? This seams to be harder than I think it should and I hope I only missing a small step.

Needing asstance with this and would be greatful for any help.

In admin/includes/config.php is where the SSL stuff goes, maybe you need to edit that and move it over?

Only antiquated hosting requires that you have a copy in a "secure" directory but check with your host

Thanks for that information, I have already used articale 14 and turned every thing on. My hosting site tells me that I need to put content in the "secure" area as this is what the cert. was create against.

I have redirected my subdomain to my store location but that doesn't seem to work as well. I have tryied to put content in the area, and that to will not load.

Completely lost. Do I need to put a complete copy of the store in this new area?

There are 2 files to edit:

includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php

My hosting site tells me that I need to put content in the "secure" area as this is what the cert. was create against.

They do not know what they are talking about and have their servers configed using this antiquated system of needing a "secure area"
Best to ask them what is required

I have read the link that you have referred me to and it looks like some one at some time had almost the same issue. I will follow the steps through and see what the outcome will be.
