will zen cart have an embeddable shopping cart in the near future?

I am working zen-cart will have plans in the near future, that will allow users to just use the zen-cart software instead of having the whole zen-cart website, like some we can create in the user account and embed the shopping cart system in our website without having to change the design... hope i didnt sound too confusing, anyways thanks in advance

You dont have to change your site, you could always make zen-cart fit your site the way you want it to through a template, and present it in a frame on your sites page.

No, you can't. Most payment processing modules won't work from within an iframe.

I doubt if a back-end Zencart script is in the works, at least not by the current developers.

Just my two cents worth. but I think too many website owners/developers mistakenly 'fall in love' with the current design of their sites. If you're considering switching to Zencart or adding a shopping cart to your operation, it might be better to view it as an opportunity to re-design a site that may well need it. Customers like new and fresh.
